Ella Edelman
I am a licensed clinical social worker in both Maryland and Florida. I received my masters in Social work from University of Maryland, as well as a specialized masters in Palliative Care. I have many years of experience working with clients across the lifespan focusing on anxiety, personal illness, caregiver stress and general life transitions. My goal is to provide compassionate care helping clients manage their presenting challenges.
How would you describe your approach to care?
I take a client-focused approach, meeting individuals where they are in their journey, providing flexible support to suit their needs. When working with me, you will have a safe and empathetic space to navigate challenges, build resilience, and enhance emotional well-being.
What should be expected in the first session?
During your consultation, you will have the opportunity to introduce yourself, share the challenges you're currently facing, and discuss your previous experiences with therapy. I will provide an overview of my therapeutic approach, allowing you the opportunity to assess whether it aligns with your needs. This session is to help you determine if the therapeutic relationship is a good fit for your goals and needs.
