Patricia Bischoff
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida and am honored to support my clients as they navigate life’s challenges. With over 15 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including military personnel, individuals in community mental health, corrections, substance use recovery, and the geriatric community.
I believe in creating a compassionate and supportive space for healing, and I am continually inspired by the strength and resilience of those I work with. Each person who shares their story with me is an honor, and their journey is what drives my passion for this work.
How would you describe your approach to care?
My approach is open, respectful, and solution-focused, always driven by the unique needs of my clients. There is no one-size-fits-all treatment strategy, so we work together to determine the best way to use your sessions effectively. Respect and strong therapeutic relationships are the cornerstones of success. I incorporate various treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). There are many paths to achieving your therapy goals, and we will find the approach that works best for you.
What should be expected in the first session?
Our initial session will focus on getting to know each other and understanding the reasons that brought you to therapy. Together, we will explore what you hope to achieve and determine the best approach to help you reach your goals. We will also create a plan for future sessions, ensuring that your therapy experience is tailored to your needs and personal growth.
