Intro

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Florida with over 30 years of experience, including work in community mental health, home health, and hospice care. My experience has taught me that genuine connection is the foundation of healing, and I bring compassionate expertise to every session. I specialize in helping older adults navigate life transitions, cope with grief, and find meaning in each chapter of life’s journey.

How would you describe your approach to care?

My approach to care is strength-based and person-centered, meeting individuals where they are with authenticity and empathy. I create a safe, supportive space for emotional expression and healing, empowering clients to navigate challenges with trust and resilience. I honor the needs, wisdom, and experiences that come with aging, tailoring care to each individual’s unique circumstances. My goal is to foster meaningful connections in a respectful environment where individuals feel truly supported.

What should be expected in the first session?

Initial consults with me are an opportunity for you to share what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the experience. We’ll also discuss the therapy process and what you can expect from working together. My work is client-driven, meaning you determine the focus of our sessions based on your needs and goals. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel comfortable opening up—at a pace that feels right for you.
