Intro

I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in Maryland with over 40 years of clinical experience. My career has been dedicated to both medical and mental health, working with older adults to help them succeed, grow, and navigate life’s challenges.

I have successfully worked with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and the impact of medical conditions on mental health. I am passionate about helping individuals achieve their goals, enhance their quality of life, and feel more confident in themselves and their choices.

How would you describe your approach to care?

My approach is to provide guidance and education, encouraging you to explore different problem-solving options that foster a sense of empowerment and well-being. I believe in building a trusting relationship where you feel safe to openly explore your thoughts and emotions. Through supportive conversations, my goal is to help you gain clarity, confidence, and resilience, while also feeling proud of the hard work you do. I strive to create a comfortable environment where you can work toward personal growth, emotional well-being, and a greater sense of fulfillment in your daily life.

What should be expected in the first session?

In our first session, we’ll discuss what brought you to therapy in a relaxed, supportive conversation—there’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. We’ll also talk about how therapy works, what to expect moving forward, and begin identifying meaningful goals. My priority is to ensure you feel heard, respected, and at ease.
